Getting There metal print by James Andrews. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

One of the tree paintings--This piece finds our hero searching for the answers far and wide....but in all the wrong places. We all go through that stage where we are going a thousand miles an hour but don't seem to be getting anywhere. It's usually because we are focused on the wrong things. The wise old, weather beaten, wind whipped tree knows our hero is lost and giggles behind him---knowing that this is just part of the process we must all go through.

About James Andrews
James Andrews is an artist and teacher who has been living in the Pacific Northwest since 1999. Andrews work is best described as Narrative Surrealism. While he is skilled in classical figure drawing with graphite and color pencil, the bulk of his professional work is in painting. Born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1973, Andrews' family moved out to Long Island's beautiful East End when he was a toddler. The skies, waters and other scenic features of the beloved Hamptons area, which he will always refer to as “home” populate many of his paintings. Andrews has always had a love of art and the stories it can tell. This love led him to pursue and earn a BFA in Theatrical Design from the State University of New York at New Paltz and,...
