This is the latest in my series depicting "the divine in all of us." Here we have the embodiment of global, peaceful love for and among humankind. My good friend Tony was an easy choice to model for this painting, as he has always had the brightest, warmest, most caring personality, in any situation.

James Andrews is an artist and teacher who has been living in the Pacific Northwest since 1999. Andrews work is best described as Narrative Surrealism. While he is skilled in classical figure drawing with graphite and color pencil, the bulk of his professional work is in painting. Born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1973, Andrews' family moved out to Long Island's beautiful East End when he was a toddler. The skies, waters and other scenic features of the beloved Hamptons area, which he will always refer to as “home” populate many of his paintings.
